FAQ
Questions about software modernization
Will we lose our existing data?
No. Data migration is the most important part of the project. We do test migrations, check totals and records together with you, and only then do the final transfer. The old data stays archived.
Do we have to stop working during the transition?
No. We replace the system gradually, and if needed the old and new system run in parallel until you are sure everything is correct.
What if nobody has the source code of the old program?
That is common. We can usually read the data directly from the database or exported files, and reconstruct the business rules from how the program works and conversations with users.
Will our employees have to learn everything from scratch?
No. We design the new application around how your people already work, keep familiar terms and steps, and remove only the unnecessary ones.
How much does modernization cost?
It depends on the size of the system and the amount of data. After a free assessment you get a plan by phases with a price for each phase, so you can start with the most important part.
Can the new system be connected with other software?
